Events - Join Us!
The Courageous Kash Foundation strives to support families and heart warriors, when inpatient at the Children's Center of Johns Hopkins Hospital. We host activities, events and fundraising campaigns designed to provide our heart warriors and families, a little bit of normalcy while raising awareness and funds to support heart warrior families. Through our many activities and events, we are committed to making families lives easier while battling against Congenital Heart Defects.
Monthly and Ongoing
Family Snack / Gift Bags - Every month the Courageous Kash Foundation organizes the assembly and distribution of family snack and gift bags to the Pediatric Cardiac ICU. These thoughtfully curated bags provide much needed comfort and convenience items to families who spend days, weeks and months by their child's bedside battling a congenital heart defect.

The Courageous Kash Foundation hosts a quarterly "Pack the Pantry" event dedicated to stocking the Pediatric Cardiac ICU (PCICU) pantry at Johns Hopkins with nutritious and sustainable snacks. This ensures that families and children have easy access to food during their stay in the PCICU. With your donation, we support the well being of heart warrior families so they can focus on what truly matters!
During the Holidays
During the holiday season, we organize special visits from loved guests for our Heart Warriors and families. These visits are designed to bring joy and a sense of normalcy to the whole family facing the challenges of hospital stays during the festive holiday season. By creating holiday memories, we aim to lift spirits and provide comfort, ensuring that families feel supported and celebrated even while in the hospital.
Parking Passes - We are committed to easing the financial burden to families, during the holiday seasons, by purchasing 10-day parking passes for each family in the Pediatric Cardiac ICU.
Seasonally
The Courageous Kash Foundation partners with the Baltimore Orioles and the Washington Nationals, receiving baseball ticket donations. These generous donations allow us to offer Heart Warriors and families, a memorial day at the ball park!
Annually
At the Courageous Kash Foundation, we proudly work with the Music Therapists at Johns Hopkins Hospital, sponsoring a make and take music station at the annual Hopkins Heart Family Reunion. This interactive experience allow Heart Warriors and families to explore the healing power of music in a supportive and happy family environment.
